Creating an order form

Creating an order form

An order form is used when meeting with customers and finalizing sales. It is recommended to get the store owners signature and the order confirmed so that you do not run into problems later. However, the order form also serves as a method of detailing all of the finer points of the sale and you will need to capture all of the relevant information to process the order. Your form should include;

  • Your label’s contact details
  • The name and details of who has taken the oder
  • The order number
  • The date the order was taken
  • The products that are being ordered
  • The price
  • A description of each style
  • Which colors have been ordered
  • The size of each style
  • The quantity of each style
  • The delivery address
  • The delivery date

The delivery date will be the date when the products leave you as opposed to when they will arrive at the store. Although you can be confident in having the clothing ready to be shipped on that date, you can not always control the length of time it will take to ship the products to their destination.
